Ko Jie Yang was called to the Bar in 2014 with more than 12 years’ experience in legal practice and has made numerous Court appearances from Magistrates’ Court to Federal Court encompassing a vast practice area of law including (and not limited to) Negligence Claim, Contractual Breach And Claim, Fraud And Criminal Breach Of Trust Claims, Land Law, Company Law, Landlord-Tenancy Dispute, Strata Management Law, Judicial Review, Employment Law, Probate And Letters Of Administration, Matrimonial And Divorce Law, Construction Law, Insolvency Law (Bankrupt And Winding Up), General Debt Recovery And Criminal Defence.
He is frequently consulted and engaged by other legal firms as counsel to argue in Court on behalf of their Clients.
His passion in law is evident with his massive collection of journals and legal textbooks and his interest in hosting and sharing knowledge in numerous free seminars and webinars. In May 2025, he was also invited as a speaker for MAICSA on the topic of Director’s Duties And Company Internal Conflict.
Jie Yang is also currently appointed on a monthly retainer basis by his Clients to provide advisory on corporate matters, debt recovery as well as employment matters.
